Paid commission for two concept drawings, opportunity to work with a leading enabler of global trade
2 sets of concept drawings
Leading enabler of global trade, DP World, came to Zealous to help with the redesign of their European Headquarters in London. Looking for ideas from interior designers and architects, DP World would then commission the successful applicant for concept drawings.
Starting with two areas in the building, the reception and coffee space, an idea of the feel for these spaces was already realised. Though the reception would be unmanned, it needed to be warm and inviting. The coffee space was to have a friendly feel where informal meetings could take place and collaboration is encouraged. Open to a complete redesign of the space, finalists were given a lot of room for their own creative ideas.
Applicants (sourced by Zealous from and beyond the existing network) submitted their portfolio on the platform and staff from DP World across three separate departments scored them using the judging feature to help finalise who they wanted to commission the project. In two weeks, they were able to select the two winners for their project.
The call was managed and marketed by Zealous, making it simple and quick for DP World to get what they needed for their creative call. We are thrilled with the outcome and very much look forward to working with DP World in the future.
“We were looking for a company to enable us to find designers to carry out varied designs for our Reception and Staff breakout area and a friend recommended Zealous to me and I can honestly say I was greatly impressed with the professionalism and the end results and I would not hesitate to recommend Zealous myself.”
“Zealous provides a very convenient and user-friendly platform to designers and freelancers. The simple application system, comprehensive project brief and attentive communication brings a new perspective and experience of working remotely.”
